Amelie Lens Presents Exhale Radio

Any deep Techno head worth their weight in salt will be familiar with the name of Amelie Lens, a powerhouse who has been pushing the confines of the genre forward for over a decade. Alongside her own releases as an artist, known for their bass-heavy, minimal style with elements of acid techno, the Belgian DJ has cultivated a community of similar-minded selectors - including AHL IVER, PAN-POT, FARRAGO, REGAL and more - under the Exhale brand, with a common goal to expand what Techno can sound like in the present day. Now available on Keakie, Amelie Lens Present Exhale Radio will serve as ground-zero for heads and novices in equal measure, blending the latest bangers with forward-thinking anthems.

Lost In Translation

Launched in 2015 by Cheb Gero aka Fabrice Gery, Akuphone is a french independent label based in Paris focused on releasing rare global Pop and Folk music from the early 1950's to the late 1980's. Spanning the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and beyond, it offers extended reissues and original compilations from a vibrant world arguably unfamiliar to many Western audiences. On Lost In Translation, now available on Keakie, Gero and Akuphone turn their attention to MENA, showcasing everything from Algerian Chaabi to Syrian electronic Dabke, based on vinyl, cassettes and CD rips, showcasing the rich musical heritages of a region of the world that is becoming appreciated for its musical contributions.

A Tropical Toast

DJ, producer and graphic designer Shallwe has been at the heart of the Indian dance music scene for over a decade and is known for his eclectic music taste spinning everything within the framework of House, as well as his own genre-pushing productions as a musician. His DJ sets are often a blend of grooves, tribal and niche sounds and his new Keakie series A Tropical Toast digs deep into the crates to find experimental and ambient tunes. The result is psychedelic sorcery for afternoon leisure enthusiasts.
